Sharing for a Healthier Africa

The goals of MANU

The first priority of the foundation is to improve the present medical facilities and to provide adequate health services to the people of Northern Uganda. As a result of this endeavor, MANU is reaching out to the international community for help in terms of providing help to fund medical equipment and personnel as well as supplies to Northern Uganda.

We plan to evaluate needs based on proposals from the various health care facilities operating in Northern Uganda and provide resources to the areas most in need.

This charity organization seek resources to combat the invisible enemy-HIV/AIDS which has taken a terrible toll on our people, in addition to the age old and ever present diseases such as malaria, tuberculosis, pneumonia, diarrhea to mention but a few. If only these people had medicines, modern equipments and adequately trained personnel and effective transportation they might not suffer greatly.

The organization's objective is to support village/ health centers/satellite community based health centers and Aber hospital to provide basic health services including immunization, prenatal care, basic health screening and services, medical diagnostic equipment, supplies and medication, dental screening and care, transportation to the hospital and health facilities, and heath care education on disease prevention.

We plan to have a transparent system readily available for verification of projects and progress made and proper accounting of where funds from the MANU foundation go to provide resources for each and every funded project and outlay.
